Mortgage Backed Investments’ affiliated investment manager, Qld Capital, is responsible for identifying, vetting and managing debt investments on behalf of Mortgage Backed Investments.
The investment manager is committed to the success of each opportunity. It demonstrates its commitment by co-investing its own funds (min. 10%) into each opportunity. It further offers its investment on a first-loss basis to investors and subordinates any management fees until after the return of investor’s projected return and return of capital.
Mark Adams owns and manages Qld Capital, a non-bank lending company that specialises in the funding of property projects in the under $10m market segment. Qld Capital acts as Investment Manager for Mortgage Backed Investments.
With over 25 years of business and property experience, Mark’s first successful venture was finance broking and lending, which provided him with initial exposure to property lending. Since 1997, he has been involved in property development and finance, including residential, green-star and rated small and medium-rise office buildings, food retail, hotel and hospitality, and big box and strip retail. Mark has been providing finance to others since 2010.
